| I'm not sure, but I feel that as we have more experiences, we are able to adjust to our situations and we can decide to make it better and happier for each of us, no matter the age. I feel that the more we get to know our partner, the happier we can be. |

| i believe it was the era maybe around the 70's, today's world takes marriage for granted.....70's into the 80's women were starting to go into employement but yet still had the household with the idel family |

| I think that my grandparents' generation (married during depression) were happiest because they worked hard at their marriages and went through hard times together. They grew closer over time. |

| Before WWII.Probably in the 1930s post depression,and early 1940's before US became involved in WWII. |

| I would say in the 50's. Moms were home caring for the family for the most part. When moms started working - because of need - kids were left on their own more. They had to much time to get into trouble. They needed to fend for themselves more. I feel that sitting down and talking as a family began to change. |
