| probably the 1940s (after WWII) and 1950s because society was settling down after the war, women were returning to their traditional roles and couples were having lots of babies. In addition, the economy was booming. |

| probably late depression era to just after depression...due to war ending...employment picked up...everyone happier, more fullfilled |

| i believe that society enjoyed more happily married couples after the second word war.it is because,they have high spirits after winning the war and they concentrated more on rebuilding the nation.job security ,high family moral values were given more importance. |
