What is your greatest concerning in raising children today?

There are to many things to list here, but as a mom of and 18yr old and a 2 year old I would have to say that to many parents give to many FREEDOMS liberally without thought to consequence later in life. How does a child with no limits, then learn to limit themselves and be their own leader. The blind can NOT lead the blind and a child without boundries can not set them entirely for themselves. We learn from our mistakes, but only if we understand that for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction.

That they get the best education possible and that the parents can afford it.

The child sex offenders alound to walk around

Keeping them safe and educating them as much as possible

kids being abused by others forced into fights drugs the bad side

I think raising them to be Christians is my greatest concern...with all the negative and alluring things theer are now..and TV and society are claiming these things are ok to do...like being Gay, doing drugs, and drinking etc....
These things are glamorized on TV and in magazines and its the "cool" thing to do.
Teach your children be their own person and not to follow the crowd. |

Making sure they don't get caught up in the whole having sex before we're allowed to drive thing. I think sex is something to have when you're in love. Unfortunately most people my age thing differently.

Drugs, alcohol, sex, teenage pregnancy; children who do not care about the morality of a situation. They do what they want, regardless.

too much violence and no respect for life and family !!!!!!

Too many drugs and NO law to control children at the age of 16.
Spare the rod is the law now. It never hurt me |

there are too many bad outside influences

I'm worried about the direction in which the world is heading, like so many parents (of any generation). Children turn out okay if people will just let them. But it's a big scary world out there.

teaching respect.hoping they learn truth, honor,

The drugs and violence they r exposed to on tv and songs, games.

that our society is dumbing people down with nonstop fear-mongering and mindless entertainment mush

drugs and promiscuity in a liberal system where there is no efective means to control childrens' behavior

Discipline in home and work ethics. To easy to hand over the goods than to work hard for rewards
